I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006 with a degree in Accounting, full of excitement for the possibilities of helping businesses succeed. Like many professionals, I started my career crunching numbers, but I quickly realized that behind every spreadsheet was a story—a business owner chasing their dream, navigating challenges, and striving to build something extraordinary.

Every day, I witnessed entrepreneurs struggling with the weight of financial uncertainty. They lacked the reliable, accurate data they needed to make informed decisions, and it was holding them back from reaching their full potential. I knew there had to be a better way.

Then one day, in 2017, I decided to create Book Werkz—a boutique bookkeeping firm that does more than just crunch numbers. I wanted to build a company that partners with entrepreneurs, giving them clarity and confidence in their financials so they could focus on what they love most about their businesses.

Because of that, I’ve been privileged to work with incredible business owners, helping them unlock the power of their financial data. My favorite part of this journey is the relationships I’ve built along the way—those moments where a client’s face lights up as they finally see the potential their numbers reveal.

Because of that, Book Werkz has become more than a service; it’s a trusted partner to small businesses, delivering reliable, accurate financial information and personalized support.

Until finally, I found myself living a life that blends my passion for helping others with the joy of my family and the tranquility of our small ranch. When I’m not reviewing financial statements, you’ll find me playing card games with my husband and two of our six kids, enjoying the company of our four dogs, 30 sheep, a donkey, a cat, some chickens, and even goldfish! Life on the ranch is never dull, and it reminds me every day of the importance of balancing work with the things we hold dear.

As a lover of Russian manicures, trying new restaurants, and traveling as much as I can, I bring a sense of curiosity and connection to every part of my life, including my work.
